Hyderabad: Leaders of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU JAC) have filed a police complaint alleging threats from fans of actor Allu Arjun. This follows the recent protest staged by OU JAC leaders at the actor’s residence in connection with the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre.
The student leaders claimed to have received multiple threatening phone calls demanding they issue an apology to Allu Arjun. In their complaint at the OU police station, they alleged that they were threatened with physical harm by callers identifying themselves as fans of the actor.
The OU JAC leaders also stated that their phone numbers were being circulated on social media, resulting in a surge of harassing calls. They urged the police to take immediate action against those involved in issuing threats and sharing their personal information.
