Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s much-awaited actioner ‘Eagle’ was moved out of the Sankranti clash following the request of the film chamber to accommodate more theatres for the remaining films. President and ace producer Dil Raju assured the makers of Eagle to ensure a solo release for the film if it gets postponed from the overcrowded Sankranti season.
This prompted Ravi Teja and his team to back out from Sankranti season. Accordingly, Eagle was shifted to February 9th. However, Sandeep Kishan’s science fiction thriller Ooru Peru Bhairavakona locked the same date long ago and the production house stated that no one from the film chamber consulted them before giving a word to ‘Eagle’ producer. Hence, they decided to go ahead with their release plans as usual.
Once again Dil Raju came forward and held a meeting with the producers of both these films yesterday. He convinced Ooru Peru Bhairavakona team to postpone it by a week for the sake of Eagle.
Now, Eagle will have a solo release on February 9th and Ooru Peru Bhairavakona will hit the screens on February 16th. Both films are carrying tremendous buzz, thanks to the impressive content in teasers and trailers.
Eagle is directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni and Ooru Peru Bhairavakona has VI Anand at the helm.
