‘Bro’ is the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster fantasy comedy ‘Vinodhaya Saitham’. After acquiring the remake rights, People Media Factory, the production house behind this project, cleverly roped in star director Trivikram Srinivas to fine-tune the script and pen dialogues. Using Trivikram they brought Pawan Kalyan on board despite his busy schedule for a supporting role.
Pawan Kalyan’s presence has no doubt resulted in a lot of positive buzz for the film among moviegoers. Even trade circles are betting big on the film because of his presence in a significant role. This is why the makers are quoting handsome prices in all major territories. They are cashing in on Pawan’s box office potential.
Unfortunately, except for Pawan Kalyan’s charisma, no other aspect is working in favour of the film. The underwhelming teaser didn’t excite much except for Pawan’s crazy histrionics. There is nothing so great to rave about Trivikram’s dialogues in the teaser. Moreover, Thaman’s music which was supposed to create hype turned out to be a damp squib as both songs failed to make an impact.
With just two weeks left its release, there is hardly any buzz on the film now. It is now up to Pawan’s stardom to save the film at the ticket windows. From openings to the long run, it all depends on Pawan’s craze among moviegoers which is going to be the deciding factor for Bro at the box office.
Bro stars Sai Dharam Tej and Kethika Sharma in the lead roles. Samutrakani is the director.
Only Pawan Kalyan’s stardom can save ‘Bro’
