‘OG’ glimpse : Terrific and Scintillating

On the eve of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, the first teaser of his upcoming film ‘OG’ is out today morning and it looks quite terrific and scintillating. Director Sujeeth hits the ball out of the park with this cut because he presented Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen avatar with his vintage swag.

Playing out at 99 seconds, the teaser gives instant goosebumps because of Pawan Kalyan’s intense screen presence. He looks super stylish as a gangster with an audacious attitude and ruthlessly slays the wrongdoers in Bombay. Arjun Das lionizes Pawan Kalyan’s character with his baritone voice over to this glimpse.

The teaser begins with the backdrop of Bombay. Arjun Das recalls that ten years ago a huge cyclone overwhelmed the entire city but couldn’t erode the bloodstains of those who were killed by the lead protagonist. So, what happens if he makes a comeback with a vengeful motive ? We are then showcased some fleeting glimpses of the violence wreaked by the Hungry Cheetah alias OG. It was a freaking bloodbath, he adds.

Pawan makes a rocking entry in his inimitable style. He looks smoking hot with a striking demeanor. SS Thaman’s stupendous background score heightens the intensity of the teaser. The production values look promising as the stunning camerawork makes every frame so appealing.

Sujeeth should be appreciated for coming up with a full-length commercial potboiler that taps into Pawan Kalyan’s box office potential to the fullest.
