Malla Reddy Faces Another Setback as Compound Wall is Demolished

Former minister and Medchal MLA Malla Reddy faced another setback as authorities demolished a compound wall constructed in the Full Tank Level (FTL) of Bomrasipeta Pedda Cheruvu in Shameerpet mandal. There were complaints that the wall was built illegally within the pond’s FTL. On Friday, the compound wall was taken down using JCBs.

Irrigation and revenue officials supervised the demolition. Additional structures built by encroaching on the same pond were also demolished. In recent days, authorities have been actively dismantling walls and buildings belonging to Malla Reddy and his son-in-law, Rajasekhar Reddy, citing them as illegal constructions.
