After achieving pan-India popularity with the grand success of RRR, Tollywood superstar NTR is determined to consolidate his market by doing diverse roles. He is currently working with acclaimed Telugu director Koratala Siva for an action spectacle titled Devara. After this, he was supposed to work with Hrithik Roshan for his Bollywood debut ‘War 2’. He also lined up a project with KGF fame director Prashanth Neel
NTR initially planned to complete Devara by the end of 2023 and quickly start shooting for War 2 after Sankranti. As ‘Salaar 2’ would take some more time to start rolling, Neel wanted to commence NTR’s film first this Summer and complete it at a rapid pace.
But, NTR’s plans seem to have gone haywire as Devara shoot got delayed indefinitely. The latest Devara will be done and dusted by February end. So, NTR can move to War 2 only after promoting Devara ahead of its release in April. So, this will lead to a delay in starting Neel’s project. In the meantime, if Neel changes his mind and starts Salaar 2, then NTR will need to wait longer as he hasn’t finalized any other script till now.
NTR has already missed 2023 as the pre-production activities of Devara happened for more than a year. He might settle with a single release each in 2024 and 2025 if Neel’s project gets delayed.
