RRR actor NTR reunited with his Janatha Garage director Koratala Siva for the second time. This time the duo is aiming to deliver a pan-India outing with a haunting backdrop backed by stupendous visuals. Titled Devara, the much-anticipated project started rolling at the start of Summer this year and the filming has been progressing at full throttle.
Koratala Siva and NTR are determined to wrap up the principal shooting by the end of November and give adequate time for the post-production activities. They are currently busy wrapping up all action sequences first and then move to the remaining talkie part followed by songs. After completing a breathtaking and brutal action sequence in the last schedule, the team is back on the sets for an intense underwater action block.
It is a known fact that the story of Devara is based on faraway coastal lands. So, there will be plenty of scenes with a sea setting and first-of-its-kind underwater action elements. NTR underwent rigorous training to shoot for these episodes. These scenes are said to be the major highlight of the film.
Devara stars Jahnvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in significant roles. Ratnavelu is cranking the camera and Sabu Cyril is taking care of the artwork. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the soundtrack for this film. Devara is slated for release on April 5th, 2024.
