With just days left for the highly anticipated release, the team behind NTR’s pan-India action drama Devara received a crucial boost from the Andhra Pradesh government. On September 20, the government issued a G.O., granting permission to increase ticket prices for Devara at both single screens and multiplexes throughout the state.
The Andhra Pradesh government has also approved 6 shows on Devara’s release day, with the first show (FDFS) kicking off as early as 12 a.m. on September 27. For the next 9 days, theaters will be allowed to screen 5 shows daily. According to the latest G.O., ticket prices for Devara will see an increase, with prices going up to ₹135 at multiplexes, ₹110 for Upper Class, and ₹60 for Lower Class tickets at single screens across the state.
NTR took to X this afternoon and wrote, “My heartfelt gratitude to the Honourable CM, Sri @NCBN garu, and Honourable Deputy CM, Sri @PawanKalyan garu of the Andhra Pradesh government for passing the new G.O. for the #Devara release and for your continued support of Telugu cinema.” NTR also thanked AP Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh in this regard.
Devara, which also stars Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles, is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna. The film features a soundtrack composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adding to the excitement surrounding this high-budget entertainer. With a star-studded cast and a renowned director at the helm, Devara is poised to make a big impact at the box office.
