The Tamil-renowned director Atlee, who made waves with King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan with the blockbuster film ‘Jawan’, has left fans eagerly anticipating news of his upcoming project.
Speculations around his upcoming project suggest that Icon star Allu Arjun might team up with Atlee; however, the project has been shelved due to Atlee’s hefty fee and the prolonged waiting period he experienced.
Recent reports indicate that Bollywood star Salman Khan has officially approved this upcoming project. If these reports hold true, it will mark Atlee’s second consecutive foray into Bollywood cinema. The official confirmation of this exciting collaboration has yet to be revealed.
The script work is currently being finalized, and the film, backed by Sun Pictures, will have further details announced soon.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently gearing up for his next film, ‘Sikandar’. Helmed by renowned director A.R. Murugadoss, the film is scheduled for an Eid release, as Salman Khan is well known for his Eid releases. Rashmika Mandanna stars as the female lead opposite Salman Khan, who takes on the title role of ‘Sikandar’. The Sultan actor will also be seen in Vishnuvardhan’s film ‘The Bull’.
On the other hand, Atlee will be producing Varun Dhawan’s next ‘Baby John’, starring alongside Keerthy Suresh. The film is backed by Priya Atlee, Murad Khetani, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of A for Apple Productions and Cine 1 Studios, with Atlee and Jio Studios serving as presenters.
