NBK109 : No main heroine yet, but glimpse is ready

Nandamuri Balakrishna scored back-to-back hits with Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy and Bhagavanth Kesari. Despite his political commitments, he is fast finishing the shooting formalities of his upcoming film which is tentatively titled #NBK109. KS Ravindra aka Bobby, who delivered a blockbuster with Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya, is the director for this film.

NBK109 kickstarted its principal shooting last year and an adequate portion has already been wrapped up. The makers are ready even with the first glimpse and the title of this much-awaited mass drama which are going to be out on the eve of Shivaratri. Surprisingly, the leading lady of the film is yet to be finalized.

The makers considered several heroines like Shraddha Srinath, Nayanatara, Meenakshii Chaudhary, Trisha Krishnan and a few Bollywood heroines for this film. Yet, they didn’t lock the lead heroine so far which is a bit baffling because the shooting is likely to be wrapped up in a couple of months. The reasons for the delay are not known.

Urvashi Rautela is playing a pivotal role in this film. But, she is not the main heroine. So, the suspense on who will romance Balayya in NBK 109 continues.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on the first teaser which is expected to pack a solid punch. A pre-look poster featuring Balayya’s hand holding an axe was out just a while ago to announce this update. Bobby Deol and Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in significant characters.

Sitara Entertainment banner, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas are jointly bankrolling the film. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the soundtrack for the film.
