The young actor Nithin is currently going through a lean patch, with back-to-back box office disasters.
His recent outing, Thammudu, directed by Venu Sriram of Vakeel Saab fame, has failed to make an impact at the box office. With poor narration and a lackluster script, Nithin has once again disappointed the fans to the core after Robin Hood. He has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming flicks, Yellamma, directed by comedian-turned-director Venu, and an untitled project under Vikram K Kumar.
Nithin and Vikram K Kumar have delivered a blockbuster hit ‘Ishq’ in 2012, and after a decade gap, the duo is collaborating for another film. Vikram is also going through a rough phase in his career with no proper hit in the last 10 years. It is heard that the makers are spending a bomb on this film for its visual effects. Nithin is currently under transformation, and it is known that this film is touted to be the most expensive in Nithin’s career. Investing a huge amount at this point is a big risk, and we have to see how far this duo defies all the odds.
