Nandamuri Balakrishna has had a terrific year so far. Besides scoring back-to-back blockbuster hits with Veera Simha Reddy and Bhagavanth Kesari, the second season of his popular talk show, Unstoppable, received an overwhelming response on Aha.
Wasting no time, Balakrishna commenced shooting for his next project, which is his 109th film. NBK109 started rolling today in Hyderabad with a high-octane action episode.
KS Ravindra aka Bobby Kolli, who delivered a sensational hit with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya, is helming this action entertainer which will feature all trademark elements that are expected from a typical Balayya film.
The makers unveiled a stunning poster to announce the start of this crazy project. With a powerful tagline ‘ Blood Bath Ka Brand Name’, the poster features a heavy-duty axe with a locket, presumably a divine amulet, and a pair of spectacles reflecting demon like creature being hit by Lord Narasimha.
Bobby scored brownie points for presenting Megastar in a vintage mass role in Waltair Veerayya. It looks like he will come up with a similar attempt with Balakrishna’s character in NBK109.
Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas will jointly bankroll the film with a solid budget. The remaining cast and crew are yet to be finalized.
