Producer Naveen Yerneni has stated that the ongoing Tollywood film workers’ strike has not impacted the shooting schedule of Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Speaking at a press meet for the upcoming film Su From So, Yerneni clarified, “There is about one week of shooting left for the hero’s role and nearly 25 days of filming for other parts. The strike has not affected our production. We have not yet finalized the release date.”
Addressing the broader challenges in the industry, he added, “Tollywood is currently dealing with multiple issues. Discussions on wage hikes for workers are ongoing, and we need to see what decisions emerge. Additionally, non-theatrical business has also seen a decline.”
Directed by Harish Shankar and starring Pawan Kalyan, Ustaad Bhagat Singh features Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna as female leads. A recent schedule featuring Pawan Kalyan has been completed. Meanwhile, Mythri Movie Makers is set to release the Telugu version of the Kannada hit Su From So, a horror-comedy starring Shanil Gowtham, Sandhya, and Raj B. Shetty, on August 8.
