Rashmika Mandanna gained prominence all over the country with her impressive performance as village belle in Allu Arjun’s pan-India blockbuster Pushpa. After the success of Pushpa, she started to be fondly called with the sobriquet ‘National Crush’. Her popularity at the national level rose further with the massive success of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal in which she played the character of a bold and straight-laced girl.
Rashmika is currently busy shooting for the much awaited sequel of Pushpa. Meanwhile, an interesting news is making rounds all over media. As per these reports, the Animal star is likely to be a part of another high-profile multilingual project. She is forerunner to share screen space with NTR in Prashanth Neel’s soon-to-be launched big-budget entertainer.
It is a known fact that NTR and Neel are joining forces for an intense action drama which is tentatively called NTR31. Though there have been numerous rumours that Dragon is the title for this film, the makers are tight lipped so far about the details. The regular shooting of NTR 31 is going to commence in August this year.
Sources revealed that Rashmika Mandanna gave an in-principle nod to sign the dotted line for this project. She is likely to officially come on board for the project just before the start of the shooting formalities.
Mythri Movie Makers, which is the production house behind Pushpa, is going to bankroll NTR31 on a huge budget. As Rashmika already worked with them for Pushpa, the makers wanted to repeat her again for NTR’s project. She has already been signed for Salman Khan’s Sikander as well.
