Tollywood’s talented actor Nara Rohit has paired up with debutant director Venkatesh Nimmalapudi for his upcoming film, which marks his 20th. The film is touted to be a romantic comedy, backed by producers Santosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli under the banner of Sandeep Picture Palace.
The makers unveiled the title as ‘Sundarakanda’ along with the vibrant first look poster featuring Nara Rohit in a stylish avatar holding a plant with a pot in one hand and a book in the other. Against a backdrop of college students wandering in the background. Along with the poster, the makers also unveiled the teaser and wrote the caption, “No two love stories are the same. Will see you in Theaters September 6th 🙂 #RN20 #sundarakanda.”
The teaser begins with a captivating narration about the essence of love, weaving through the memorable love sagas of Telugu cinema such as Geethanjali, Murari, Ye Maya Chesave, Kushi, Bommarillu, and Arya, stating that ‘no two love stories are the same’.
The film stars Nara Rohit as the main lead and Vriti Vaghani as the lead actress. The film also stars Sri Devi Vijay Kumar, Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vasuki Anand, Satya, Ajay, and many more in pivotal roles. Pradeep M. Varma is handling the film’s cinematography, while Rohan Chillale is handling the editing. Leon James is composing the tunes for this romantic comedy. The film is slated to arrive in theaters on September 6th.
On the work front, the actor is gearing up for his upcoming release, ‘Prathinidhi 2’, which is a sequel to 2014’s political thriller Prathinidhi. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 25, 2024. Fans are awaiting its release, as the film is releasing ahead of the Andhra Pradesh state elections.
