TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh paid a visit to Simhadri Appanna. Arriving at the temple adorned in traditional attire, he received a warm welcome from officials and priests. Lokesh participated in traditional rituals, including embracing the frog pillar and circumambulating the Beda Mandapam. Subsequently, he paid homage to the deity in the antaralayam, where prayers were offered in his name by the temple priests. Following the visit, Lokesh was presented with prasadam and a portrait by the temple authorities, with several leaders joining him in the puja.
Continuing his ‘Sankharavam Yatra’, Lokesh journeyed to Krishnarayapuram in Pendurthi mandal of Visakhapatnam district, Chittivalasa in the Bheemili constituency, and Sompuram in Vizianagaram district yesterday.
