Telugu Desam Party General Secretary Nara Lokesh has today participated in the hunger strike in New Delhi opposing the arrest of Nara Chandrababu Naidu in connection with the Skill Development Case scam. Telugu Desam Party MPs have supported him. Nara Lokesh participated in the hunger strike at TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar’s place. Before the start of the hunger strike, Nara Lokesh paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
It is well known that TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu was sent to judicial remand to Rajahmundry Central Prison alleged by the AP CID that he had committed Rs. 371 Crores scam. Many protests were observed in various places all over the world opposing the arrest of Nara Chandrababu Naidu. TDP supporters allege that CBN’s arrest was illegal and he should be released very soon. His case was postponed for hearing on October 5th.
