Nara Lokesh confident To create 20 Lakh Jobs In The state By 2029

Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh expressed confidence to create 20 lakh jobs in the state by 2029. He participated in the second meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on the creation of 20 lakh jobs at his residence in Undavalli. The officials explained to the ministers through a PowerPoint presentation on the investments received so far, job creation and the status of MoUs.

It was explained that through the agreements signed so far, investments of Rs. 8.73 lakh crore are likely to come in the state, thereby creating jobs for 5. 27 lakh people. Lokesh instructed the officials to make the Investment Tracker portal efficient. All details related to land allotments and permissions should be kept in the tracker update, he said.

He said that all the big companies in the country should be invited to invest in the state. On this occasion, Lokesh informed that the companies that have already invested should be given confidence so that they can expand further. He said that many industrialists are showing interest in investing in AP and suggested that they should be granted the necessary land allotments, as well as permits and subsidies quickly.

The Minister directed that MSMEs should be encouraged in large numbers and that the industries should be provided with the necessary human resources through ITIs and polytechnics. Lokesh instructed the officials to pay special attention to attracting investments in the tourism sector.
