The arguments regarding the anticipatory bail petition of Telugu Desam Party General Secretary Nara Lokesh in the Inner Ring Road case of Amaravathi were started in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. It is known that Nara Lokesh has been included as A14 in the inner ring road case by the CID.
The Crime Investigation Department alleges that Nara Lokesh played a key role in changing the alignment of the Inner Ring Road to their beneficiary along with the top-placed officials in the government. The CID further alleges that corrupt activities were committed by these officials between 2014 to 2019 regarding the designing of the master plan.
Currently, arguments from both sides are happening. AG Sriram has submitted a copy of the notices before the High Court. In the notices, CID alleged that the Heritage and Ex-Minister Narayana were the main beneficiaries of the change in alignment of the Inner Ring Road master plan.
