Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna faces severe backlash for a recent incident involving his bodyguard. The actor issued an apology to his fan on social media.
Going on to the details, Akkineni Nagarjuna was recently spotted at Hyderabad airport with renowned actor Dhanush. On Sunday, as the actor walked through the airport, a fan approached him for a selfie. Unfortunately, the actor did not notice the fan, while the bodyguard pushed the elderly fan away. The elderly man nearly fell, but was assisted by someone nearby. The actor subsequently faced widespread criticism online following the incident.
Sharing the viral video on his social media platform (X), Nagarjuna apologized to his fan and wrote, “This just came to my notice… this shouldn’t have happened!! I apologise to the gentleman and will take necessary precautions that it will not happen in the future!!
In his professional endeavors, Akkineni Nagarjuna’s latest appearance was in ‘Naa Saami Ranga’, which garnered mixed-to-positive reviews and managed to be a hit at the box office.
Currently, King Nagarjuna is gearing up for a cop role in the upcoming film ‘Kubera’ helmed by Sekhar Kammula. Apart from Nagarjuna, the film stars Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna. Scheduled for a pan-Indian release, the film will arrive in theaters later this year.
