Nagarjuna returns to his favourite genre

Akkineni Nagarjuna has the habit of trying out experimental subjects in between commercial scripts. He disappointed fans with his last few outings like The Ghost, Wild Dog, Manmadhudu, Officer etc. Only Banggaraju managed to entertain audiences to some extent and made some money at the box office. His fans have been quite restive with his poor choice of scripts and genres in recent years. The last time he scored a big blockbuster was with Soggade Chinni Nayana, a rustic entertainer which is set in the backdrop of a village nativity.

Now, he is back to his favourite genre again. Reportedly, his next film which has writer-turned-director Prasanna Kumar Bezawada at the helm is going to be an out-and-out rural drama with loads of entertainment and masala. It is believed that Nag has directed the debutant to make it a full-length entertainer that will cut across all sections of moviegoers. After scoring back-to-back box office duds, Nag decided to keep experiments aside and come up with a complete entertainer that will spin success at the box office.

This untitled film is set in the backdrop of a rural milieu in which Nag plays a mass role. There will be loads of drama and action with entertainment as the driving factor. Allari Naresh is playing a significant role in this film which commenced shooting just a few days back. Nag is planning to release this film during the festival season.
