Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni on Monday called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his official residence to extend a formal invitation to his younger son Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming wedding. The actor spent some time with the Chief Minister, personally inviting him to the ceremony.
Akhil got engaged to Zainab Rauf in November last year, and speculation has been rife regarding their wedding date. While an official confirmation is awaited, sources indicate that the wedding is expected to take place on June 6.
Earlier, Nagarjuna had also met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to invite him to the wedding. The high-profile ceremony is expected to see attendance from several prominent figures from the film and political spheres.
