Tensions have once again flared up in Pithapuram constituency during the two-day visit of Jana Sena MLC Konidala Nagababu and the atmosphere has heated up with a show of force between TDP and Jana Sena activists. TDP activists tried to obstruct MLC Nagababu’s visit at every step.
When Nagababu went to the inauguration ceremony of CC roads in Kumarapuram, TDP activists shouted slogans like Jai Varma and Jai TDP. In response, Jana Sena activists shouted slogans like Jai Jana Sena and Jai Pawan Kalyan. Moreover, there was a situation where people pushed each other.
TDP activists have reportedly become furious as former MLA and TDP in-charge Verma was not invited to the inauguration ceremony being held by Nagababu. Nagababu visited Pithapuram constituency for the first time on Friday and Saturday after taking office as an MLC.
As part of that, he laid the foundation stone for several development programs. In this sequence, the TDP workers who attended the program shouted slogans like Jai Varma. With this, all the Jana Sena workers present there shouted slogans like Jai Pawan. Tension arose as both the parties praised their leaders and shouted slogans.
However, as part of the second day of the tour, Nagababu arrived in Pithapuram with heavy security to lay the foundation stone of CC roads. At the same time, both the Jana Sena workers and TDP workers present there also raised slogans. In this sequence, some Jana Sena workers came close to the TDP ranks and shouted slogans, resulting in a scuffle between the two groups.
The TDP ranks are deeply angry that the TDP in-charge Verma was not invited when Nagababu came to Pithapuram as an MLC. In addition, the comments made by Nagababu at the recent Jana Sena plenary meeting created some commotion.
Nagababu’s comments that if anyone thinks that he is the reason for Pawan Kalyan’s victory in Pithapuram, it is their karma, which created a big commotion at the time. But, Jana Sena party leaders made it clear that they are organizing programs in coordination with everyone.
