Naga Chaitanya’s film gets delayed further

After scoring back-to-back flops with Thank You and Custody, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya opted to team up with hit director Chandoo Mondeti for the second time after Premam. The project is tentatively called NC23 with ‘Thandel Raju’ most likely to be the title.

The formal announcement of this project was made long back. And, the makers kickstarted the pre-production work with an extensive workshop. They even unveiled a making video with the title ‘NC23 Expedition’ and it showcased how Chaitu is prepping for his role which is based on the life of a fisherman. The video grabbed the eyeballs of everyone and created a strong buzz on the film.

NC23 was supposed to start rolling in October. However, the shooting is likely to be delayed by a couple of months due to an extension in the post-production phase. Reportedly, the team is planning to commence the regular shoot in mid-December.

A small video will be out on Naga Chaitanya’s birthday in November. This will be followed by the launch event and subsequently, the shooting will get underway.
