Akkineni Naga Chaitanya seems to have finally realized the importance of aggressive promotions. Unlike other actors in Tollywood, Chaitu gave little preference to PR activity all these days. He used to come out to interact with the media just before the release of his films. Due to a weak PR team, Chaitu’s films suffered at the box office even though they secured decent talk and deserved better collections than what they ended up.
Now, he is putting his foot on the pedal for promotions. For his upcoming film, NC23 ( Tentative title is Thandel Raju), Chaitu started promoting it even before commencing the regular shooting. The strategy has worked very well as the project garnered strong buzz all over.
Enhancing his PR activity further, Chaitu has now stepped into YouTube with an official channel under his name. Through this channel, Chaitu will interact with the outside world by giving timely updates about his films through exclusive interviews and media interactions.
Immediately after launching the channel, Chaitu posted a two-minute video in which he was seen interacting with a person. Chaitu revealed that his present makeover is for the character he plays in NC23 with director Chandoo Mondeti. He also spilled the beans that the first look shoot had been completed and expressed excitement with the output.
Speaking about his maiden webseries Dhootha which is releasing on December 1st, Chaitu said he is playing an interesting role and asked the viewers to tag his director Vikram K Kumar to know more about it.
This is a good move by Naga Chaitanya to take up the responsibility and promote his films uniquely and aggressively.
