The separation of Tollywood stars Naga Chaitanya and Samantha has resurfaced in the spotlight with fresh remarks from Naga Chaitanya’s aunt, Nag Susheela. Speaking in a recent interview, she clarified that the family neither opposed their marriage nor their decision to part ways.
“When Chaitanya and Samantha wanted to marry, we did not object. Later, when they decided to divorce, we did not stop them either. We never blamed them, and the decision was entirely theirs,” Susheela said, adding that the family respected their choice.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, who fell in love during the making of Ye Maaya Chesave, married in 2017 but announced their separation in 2021 after four years, shocking fans. While speculation around their divorce continues, both actors have since moved on with their careers.
Chaitanya is now married to actress Shobhita Dhulipala and remains active in films, while Samantha continues to work as both an actor and producer. Susheela’s comments underline that the Akkineni family stood by the couple’s personal decisions without interference.
