Akkineni Nagarjuna is once again targeting the festival season with his upcoming film Naa Saami Ranga. The theatrical trailer is out just five days before the film’s release and it promises a total ‘Paisa Vasool’ entertainer during the Sankranti season.
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer is fully loaded with mass ingredients like humourous dialogues, high-voltage action episodes, village drama and colourful songs. Nagarjuna appears in a complete rustic avatar and his mass mannerisms are going to be the unique selling point for this film.
Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun get substantial roles as Nag’s sidekicks and they try to add some comic punch to the narration with their antics. The chemistry between Nag and Ashika Ranganath is one of the likeable aspects of the trailer.
The latter portions of the trailer give a glimpse of the village politics and there seems to be a lot of intense drama because of the local feuds between different groups.
Nagarjuna kills with his styling and mass get-up. He looks fabulous and energetic in action scenes and impresses with his dialogue delivery.
Debutant Vijay Binni has made this a wholesome entertainer that has all the trappings to cater to the masses. Prasanna Kumar Bejawada comes up with appropriate dialogues that suit the village nativity and the genre of the film.
MM Keeravani’s music score fits the bill and the cinematography is fine.
Overall, Naa Saami Ranga appears to be a perfect festival outing that has the potential to strike a chord with the masses and set the cash registers ringing.
