Naa Saami Ranga: Nag refuses to bow out from Sankranti race

Sunday, December 22, 2024

This Sankranti season is going to offer a movie feast for cinephiles as a bunch of big-ticket films gears up to entertain them. Five notable Tollywood films booked the slots during the much-hyped festival week. However, speculation is rife that one or two films might back out from the race due to stiff competition for theatres.

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s rustic entertainer Naa Saami Ranga is one among the five films that have been constantly making headlines in the media circles whenever there is discussion on which of these films will avoid the heavy rush. This is because Naa Saami Ranga is the last film to join the race as the shooting commenced only in October this year. All others booked berths well in advance. But, the makers of ‘Naa Saami Ranga’ seem to be not in the mood to miss the festival advantage.

Once again, the team of Naa Saami Ranga reiterated that the film will hit the screens on January 14th. This Sunday morning, a brand new poster featuring Nagarjuna and his two sidekicks Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun in a joyful mood while dancing in tandem was unveiled to reaffirm the release date.

The shooting formalities of Naa Saami Ranga are nearing completion and the first copy will be readied in a few more days. With this announcement, it is clear that Nagarjuna refused to bow down from the Sankranti battle as he previously scored hits with Soggade Chinni Nayana and Bangarraju during the same festival season.

Naa Saami Ranga is billed as a mass entertainer with a rural milieu. Nag will be seen in an ultra-stylish avatar with intense mannerisms and mass get-up.

Directed by Vijay Binni, the film has Ashika Ranganath as the female lead. MM Keeravani is rendering the soundtrack. Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner is bankrolling the film.
