His upcoming biggie ‘Varisu’ starring Thalapathy Vijay is now in discussions all of a sudden with an intriguing comparison. No doubt Thaman has become the most sought-after musician in Telugu Film Industry and his talent fetched the mighty project RC15 in the combination of Ramcharan and Shankar.
In Kollywood, the Kick composer is yet to make his mark as he did in Telugu and the immediate next Varisu is a golden opportunity as far as Tamil audiences are concerned. At this juncture, Thaman is having unwanted and unexpected pressure from Tamil movie lovers in the name of star composer Anirudh Ravichandran. The Kolaveri fame in the last couple of years has given ground-shattering music for Tamil movies like Vikram etc., especially to Thapalathy Vijay for films Master, Kaththi, and Beast.
Now Thaman has to overshine and give an amazing album along with a riveting background score for ‘Varisu’ or else he shall become the victim of Tamilians and Thalapathy fans. Already the promo of ‘Varisu’ first single was out and it was soothing. Now the fans are waiting for the complete first single. The movie is directed by Vamsi Paidipalli and Dil Raju has bankrolled this project. The movie will be released in Telugu in parallel with Tamil for next year’s Pongal.
