GV Prakash took to his Instagram and X handle to confirm the unfortunate news and wrote a heartfelt note that read, “After much reflection, Saindhavi and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage. For the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving our mutual respect for each other. We kindly ask the Media, friends, and fans to understand and respect our privacy during this deeply personal transition.”
He also added, “Acknowledging that we are growing apart, we believe this is the best decision for each other. Your understanding and support means a lot during this difficult time. Thank You.” Dropping the same, Saindhavi also shared the same post on her social media handles.
GV Prakash is well-known as a music director and has also ventured into acting and film production. Saindhavi, on the other hand, is a renowned playback singer, gracing compositions by GV Prakash and many other maestros with her melodious voice. The couple got married in 2013 and welcomed their baby girl named ‘Avni’ in 2020.
