Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) has announced his decision to resign from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and relinquish his MP post. This comes in response to the party’s clear indication of allocating the Vijayawada ticket for the upcoming general elections to another candidate.
Kesineni Srinivas, who has been in disagreement with the TDP high command on various issues, including the struggle for recognition within the party and the prominence given to his younger brother Sivanath (Chinni), conveyed his intention to step down through a message on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) on Saturday morning.
