Indian Government under PM Modi leadership took down 35 Pakistan You Tube channels and social media accounts that were spreading fake news against India. The blocked channels and accounts had more than 130 million views. This online war was waged by Pakistan in December 2021 where they telecasted fake and misguiding information about the death of Former Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces Bipin Rawat. Reacting to this, Information and Broadcasting Ministry blocked 20 Pakistan You Tube channels at that time. Now similar action was initiated by the I&B Ministry by blocking 35 more channels and accounts for spreading anti-India content.
