MM Keeravaani honored with Padma Shri Award

Tollywood music director MM Keeravaani bagged a rare achievement. After winning several awards and accolades for the blockbuster RRR, the talented composer was now honored with the country’s fourth highest civilian awards Padma Shri.

Sharing the exciting news, the RRR filmmaker and Keeravaani’s cousin brother SS Rajamouli took to his social media handles and dropped a pic saying- ‘So proud of my Peddanna…!!!’

As per the sources, Keeravani received the Padma Shri from President Droupadi Murmu, in New Delhi on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also attended the presentation ceremony and personally met the awardees.

Meanwhile, the picture which showed the superhit brother duo posing together for the camera is now going viral on social media and winning the hearts of the netizens. Ever since the news came out, social media has been flowing with congratulatory wishes and best regards from the fans and supporters.

As we know that Keeravaani is one of the best music directors in the south who tuned hundreds of songs for the films. He worked with all the top actors in the Tollywood including Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Kamal Haasan, Ravi Teja, Prabhas and many others.

MM Keeravaani gained international fame with Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR. He bagged the Oscar in the Best Original Song category for Naatu Naatu at the 95th Academy Awards. The lead composer graced the award ceremony with the lead team of RRR including Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, SS Karthikeya, Rama Rajamouli, Upasana Konidela, Rahul Sipligunj, Kaala Bhairava, Chandra Bose and others.
