Telangana MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha leads a huge protest against Congress leader Revanth Reddy’s comments regarding electricity for the farmers in Telangana. Speaking to the media, Revanth Reddy who is in the United States said that almost 95 percent of the farmers only had less than three acres of land and thus three hours of electricity is sufficient for them. BRS government is fooling the farmers in Telangana with 24/7 electricity comments.
Revanth Reddy’s comments turned BRS leaders furious and across the state, many BRS leaders came before the power stations and protested against Revanth Reddy. They burned his effigies across the state and warned him not to enter the state and suggested to stay back in the US.
BRS MLC Kavitha leads the protest over TPCC Revanth Reddy’s comments. She demanded Revanth Reddy should immediately apologize to the farmers. “Until he apologizes, Congress leaders should not be allowed to roam in the villages,” she said.
