The court has extended the custody of BRS MLC Kavitha in connection with the Delhi liquor policy scam. On Monday, the Rouse Avenue court prolonged her custody until July 3. Kavitha was brought before the court on Monday by the police, as her previous custody ended on Sunday. She arrived at the court under heavy security. Inside the court hall, MLC Kavitha glanced at the media personnel present. Supporters, chanting “Jai Telangana, Jai Bharat,” accompanied her. A video of the incident, which occurred in the court hall, has since gone viral on social media.
