MLC Kavitha Furious on Notices Issued To KCR, says A conspiracy To Tarnish His Reputation

Friday, December 5, 2025

MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha was furious that the notices were issued in the name of the Kaleshwaram Commission to tarnish KCR’s reputation with political factions. She said that everyone knows how much they have suffered from losing the share of water that is due to Telangana in the Godavari river in the combined state, and that KCR designed the Kaleshwaram project to make Telangana a one crore acre paradise.

She accused that everyone knows that the Congress party has been upset about the Kaleshwaram project from the beginning. She was furious that the Congress party never wants Telangana to improve and the poor to improve, and that the leadership of the Congress party thinks that they will get positions only if the people remain in poverty forever.

Kavitha lamented that the Congress party leaders had been conspiring from the beginning and filed many cases against the Kaleshwaram project built by KCR to provide water to all the barren lands in Telangana. As part of the same conspiracy, she alleged that the Medigadda Barrage, which is part of the Kaleshwaram project, cracked a few days before the assembly elections.

Immediately after that, she recalled that officials of the central government agency NDSA came in boats and took photos and promoted it. She alleged that the people were confused about the Kaleshwaram project before the assembly elections, and it was as part of this conspiracy that the Congress party formed the Kaleshwaram Commission after coming to power in the state.

She reminded that KCR is a leader who considered his life a sacrifice and went on a hunger strike to death for the people of Telangana. She said that the Congress party formed such commissions as part of a conspiracy to damage KCR’s reputation and name.

Kavitha asserted that it should be recognized that the Kaleshwaram project is a project built for the people of Telangana. She expressed hope that soon all the truth will come out.

Meanwhile, BRS chief KCR was met by former minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao on Monday evening, at his farm house in Yerravalli, soon after the Commission issued notices to both of them. It is reported that discussions took place between them for about an hour on this occasion.
