Discontent with her bleak political future within BRS, MLC Kalvakutla Kavitha is eagerly waiting for a call from party chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Even after ten days of her letter leak, KCR has not called Kavitha and spoken to her. He has not even given her time.
It may be recalled that Kavitha has made harsh comments about internal issues in the party and KTR. With this, her father KCR is said to be serious about his daughter. On the other hand, BRS leaders and cadres are staying away from Kavitha’s programs. This has given her clear indication that her political fortunes in BRS are bleak.
So, now she is focusing on her activities under the auspicious of Jagruti. Although she is claiming KCR as her only leader, BRS leaders and activists are keeping a distance from her. BRS Working President and her brother KTR is on a foreign tour from May 25. He went to USA from London, and likely to stay there for four more days.
KTR is expected to return back on June 10, ahead of KCR’s scheduled appearance before Kaleshwaram Commission.Till then, there seems to be no chance of KCR calling Kavitha. It is known that when KTR was away from the country, Kavitha had made severe criticisms of her brother.
With this, there is a discussion in BRS on whether KTR will respond to Kavitha’s comments or not after his return? Kavitha is reportedly determined to organize programs through Telangana Jagruti for now regarding her political future. Whether or not she gets a call from her father, it seems that she wants to do her work through Jagruti.
Except for Jagruti flags and banners, she is making sure that there is no BRS-related thing anywhere in her programs. She is organizing programs with Telangana Jagruti and United Phule Front leaders and activists. Jagruti leaders said that even though no BRS party leaders or activists attended the dharna held at Indira Park, they managed to make the event a success.
Based on this, it seems that there has been a clear division in BRS. Although Kavitha technically continues in the BRS, affairs are being conducted in a way that everyone has their own way. The situation is likely to remain like this until some key development takes place.
