Kavitha Criticizes CM Revanth Reddy’s Address to PM Modi as “Elder Brother”

Hyderabad: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his elder brother during a rally in Adilabad. Kavitha pointed out that PM Modi hasn’t allocated any funds to Telangana, questioning how he could be considered an elder brother. She emphasized that the CM’s remarks indicate a similarity between the Congress and the BJP. Kavitha also denounced the NDA government for neglecting Telangana in the Union Budget.

Furthermore, Kavitha voiced dissatisfaction with the Congress-led state government’s treatment of women in job recruitment, citing injustices. She opposed the implementation of a new government order (GO No. 3) and called for its immediate revocation. Kavitha announced plans to stage a protest with black ribbons on Women’s Day at Dharna Chowk on the 8th of the month to oppose the aforementioned government order. She accused the Congress party of betraying women and job seekers, expressing concerns over the roster system’s impact on female employment opportunities.
