The makers of Pan Indian star Prabhas’s ‘Adipursh’ have made an official announcement on the movie’s release date thereby postponing it from Pongal to 16th of June in 2023.
Part of Prabhas’s fans are happy but most of the movie lovers are now firing at the makers for picking up the worst date ever.Right from its first look release to till date, the promos and developments of ‘Adipursh’ are only killing the buzz.
Initially, the team opted for the Pongal release but the bad reaction to the movie’s teaser and suggestions from well-wishers made the director Om Raut postpone the date to work on the VFX works. In their latest press release, Makers opted for the 16th of June and now all are trolling the team yet again.
Not in Telugu but the four big films from Hollywood and Bollywood are releasing in the same month competing with this mythological thriller. Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse is releasing on the 2nd of June, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is hitting the screen on the 9th of June and The Flash will be out on the 23rd of June.
As these most awaited biggies are not enough, the most hyped movie of Shahrukh Khan, Jawaan is also releasing on 2nd June. All these projects dent the collections of ‘Adipursh’ given the fact that it has been made with a whopping sum of 500 crores. Being aimed at the North market more than Telugu, this is said to be a suicide move from the makers of ‘Adipursh’.
Directed by Om Raut, this movie is bankrolled by T-series and presented by the UV Creations banner. Kriti Sanon is the female lead and Saif Ali Khan reprises the role of Raavan. Let us wait to witness the epic tale of Ramayan in 3D on 16th June.
