‘Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty’ struggling to create buzz

Some films find it very difficult to pique the attention of moviegoers despite boasting a solid cast and the backing of a noted production house. The lack of impressive content in promotions could be one of the reasons behind the lukewarm reception. One upcoming film that is struggling to generate buzz because of this reason is Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty’s starrer ‘Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty’.

The film was initially supposed to hit the screens in the first week of August. However, it was postponed to September 7th now. As the romantic entertainer is unable to create a good buzz in audiences and trade circles with its songs and teasers, the makers have opted to push the release date by a month. Though Naveen Polishetty turned out to be a bankable actor after the success of ‘Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya’ and ‘Jathi Ratnalu’, he couldn’t create any hype for Miss Shetty and Mr. Polishetty.

Anushka Shetty’s presence is also not doing any magic in favour of the film. After Baahubali 2, this is the first notable film for her. The pairing of Naveen Polishetty and Anushka made some noise initially, but the buzz diminished as there is nothing great to rave about the content in the promotions so far. Only positive aspect for the film so far is the heartwarming posters.

UV Creations is behind this project and Mahesh Babu P is the director. The film will now need to up the ante with strong publicity campaign by releasing impressive trailers so as to get good openings.
