BRS Minister KT Rama Rao and Harish Rao today met senior politician Nagam Janardhan Reddy at his residence. It is very well known that Janardhan Reddy has announced his resignation from the Congress party. The duo on Sunday invited Nagam Janardhan Reddy to join the BRS party. It is said that the senior politician responded positively to the request and is expected to meet Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragati Bhavan and announce his decision.
Earlier, in a letter written to AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Janardhan Reddy pointed out that the party neglected him even though he played an active part in strengthening the party in the Nagarkurnool constituency.
After meeting Nagam, KTR addressed the media and said that the senior leader was a staunch supporter of the Telangana movement. We invited him to the BRS party and he responded positively. We ensure him that he would be accommodated in a suitable position in the party.
