Chittoor: YSRCP leaders organized protests throughout the state in response to the assault on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Minister RK Roja led a demonstration at Ambedkar’s statue in Puttur, Nagari constituency. They chanted slogans demanding the immediate apprehension of the assailants involved in the attack on Jagan and called for an end to Chandrababu’s aggressive tactics. Alleging that those opposing Jagan were envious of his growing popularity, they accused Chandrababu Naidu of orchestrating the attack to thwart Jagan’s rise.
She urged the Election Commission to treat the incident seriously and promptly file a case. Furthermore, they insisted on legal action against all individuals associated with Chandrababu’s alleged plot, emphasizing the importance of accountability in a democratic system. Minister Roja criticized Chandrababu, Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan for inciting misguided youth through their inflammatory rhetoric, asserting that resorting to violence to gain power was unacceptable in a democracy.
