Minister Narayana has announced that the Amaravati capital project will be completed within the next two and a half years. He stated that they will study the current situation within ten days and commence the work. He assured that the difficulties faced by the capital farmers would be addressed and they would receive the necessary support. Narayana also mentioned that a decision would be made regarding the garbage tax in urban areas. Despite changes in many senior ministers’ departments, Narayana has retained the Urban Development and Municipal Administration portfolios.

Minister Narayana emphasized his experience from 2014 to 2019 and expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for reassigning him the same departments. He highlighted the swift land pooling process in 2015, where 34,000 acres were collected within 58 days due to the trust placed in the Chief Minister. Narayana mentioned that about ₹9000 crores were spent on roads and houses before the previous government halted the project. He estimated that it would take two to three months to study the project’s current state and another six to eight months to complete the necessary work. He reassured that the benefits promised to the farmers would be delivered, and measures would be taken to ensure no legal problems arise in the future. Additionally, Narayana criticized the previous administration’s garbage tax and stated that a proper study and decision would be made on the matter.
