Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh criticized YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, sharing photos of YSRCP offices under construction in Eluru, Srikakulam, Nellore, and Annamayya districts. “Is Andhra Pradesh your grandfather Raja Reddy’s estate?” Lokesh questioned.
He alleged that more than 42 acres of land across 26 districts were allotted for YSRCP offices on a 33-year nominal lease of Rs 1,000 and accused Jagan of constructing luxurious “palaces” with Rs 500 crore looted from the public.
“Your insatiable thirst for land is costing the state 42 acres worth over Rs 600 crore, which could benefit 4,200 poor families. The Rs 500 crore spent on these lavish buildings could construct 25,000 homes for the needy. What is this madness for palaces?” Lokesh asked, condemning it as driven by greed for money.
