The Minister Konda Surekha- CM Revanth Reddy controversy that created a political stir across Telangana has been resolved. Minister Konda Surekha herself came before the media and apologized to the CM to put an end to the controversy.
She deplored that her daughter Sushmita made some comments in anger when the police came to their house and she was apologizing on her behalf. She clarified that there are no differences between them at present and that everything will be sorted out soon.
On the other hand, in a press briefing held after the cabinet meeting to give a signal that the dispute between Konda Surekha and Ponguleti is over, they both sat together. It is noteworthy that Ponguleti introduced Surekha as her sister while introducing her to the media. There was a long discussion in the state cabinet meeting on the lack of unity among ministers!
It is learned that CM Revanth Reddy has said that ministers should not get into a fight over minor issues and that it is not right to take to the streets regarding minor disputes. It is reported that the people as well as the opposition are being diluted by making unnecessary fuss. It is reported that such unwanted incidents are being advised to be avoided.
The cabinet has reportedly decided to consider the incidents that have happened so far as a storm in a teacup and from now on, it should be united and give a clear signal to the people in this regard. In particular, the dispute between Ministers Konda Surekha and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy regarding the contract; the commotion that occurred when the police went to the minister’s residence to arrest Konda Surekha’s former OSD discussed.
Also the situation where Minister Ponnam Prabhakar had to apologize to Minister Adluri Lakshman after he made a slip of the tongue; the dispute between Ministers Adluri and Vivek and other issues were discussed. It seems that CM Revanth Reddy and other ministers are of the opinion that the people are being made light of by the ministers’ fuss over minor issues.
It is also reported that there was a discussion that we ourselves are providing weapons to the opposition. There was a discussion that BRS party leaders were spreading false information, especially about the controversy between Konda Surekha and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
