Numerous celebrities from the Telugu film industry have come forward to offer their support to the flood-affected Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As known, the continuous downpour from the past few days has caused severe disruptions in these states.
Following the heartwarming gestures of Jr. NTR, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Vishwak Sen, Vyjayanthi Movies, Ananya Nagalla, Trivikram Srinivas, and many others, Megastar Chiranjeevi has generously donated Rs. 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s relief fund for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Expressing his sorrow over the devastation caused by the floods, Chiranjeevi shared a heartfelt message on his social media platform X, stating, “The suffering caused to the people due to the effect of floods in the Telugu states saddens me. The loss of tens of innocent lives is very tragic. Under the direction of the Chief Ministers of the Telugu states, both governments are striving to improve the situation. We all need to be involved in relief efforts in some way.
Confirming his donation, he said, “As part of the process, I am announcing my contribution of one crore rupees (50 lakhs each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CM Relief Fund) to aid the affected people. I pray that these challenging times will pass quickly and that everyone remains safe.”
On the work front, Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently immersed in his highly anticipated socio-fantasy spectacle ‘Vishwambhara’, helmed by Mallidi Vassishta. Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead and the film is slated for a Pongal release in 2025.
