Tollywood megastar Megastar Chiranjeevi is now busy with the shoot of his next fantasy entertainer Vishwambhara, helmed by Vassishta. After that most awaited film completes production, he is geared up to team up with blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi for a full-scale entertainer that’s already creating a huge buzz among industry insiders.
What’s grabbing equal attention, however, is the curiosity around Chiranjeevi’s OTT debut. While veteran actors like Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, and Balakrishna have already marked their presence in the digital space — through web series, talk shows, and special appearances — Chiranjeevi remains the only major senior star yet to make an entry.
Interestingly, Megastar was approached once to do a role in the extremely popular web show The Family Man. But he did not take up the offer at that time.
Now, in a shocking yet intriguing revelation during the recent Kuberaa movie function, Chiranjeevi spoke about OTT. He claimed he is open to digital space, and that if the role is meaningful and worthwhile, he would never say no to it.
This revelation has again sparked enthusiasm among fans, who are now looking forward to Chiru’s grand OTT entry. As fan preferences have changed and Chiranjeevi has agreed to join new formats, his digital debut appears imminent.
