Mega fans are set for a double celebration this Dasara as updates from films featuring father-son duo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are scheduled to be unveiled on the same day. The makers of Ram Charan’s highly anticipated film Peddi have announced that the first song from the movie will be released on Vijayadashami. Simultaneously, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s new film, directed by Bobby Kolli, will have its ceremonial launch, adding to the festive excitement.
Peddi, following Ram Charan’s global hit Game Changer, is directed by Uppena fame Buchibabu Sana and produced under VVR Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings by Satish Kilaru. The revenge drama, set against the backdrop of rural sports, has already generated significant buzz with recently released glimpses. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, while music is composed by A.R. Rahman.
The film’s shooting is progressing rapidly, with key scenes filmed at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and a grand song featuring over 1,000 dancers shot in Mysore, Karnataka. The production team has highlighted this song as a major highlight of the film. Scheduled for worldwide release on March 27 next year, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday, Peddi is expected to create high anticipation. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s project with director Bobby Kolli, following Valteeru Veerayya, will also be officially launched on Dasara, giving fans an early festive treat with both the song release and movie launch.
