Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is also enjoying a dream run in South Indian cinema. Having made a splash with back-to-back movies, 2025 appears to be a turning point year for the young actress. Her latest outing Sankranthiki Vasthunam, alongside superstar Venkatesh, proved to be a Sankranti blockbuster, reinforcing her position as one of the most promising stars in the industry.
Now, Meenakshi is keeping herself busy with thrilling Telugu films. She’s starring in NC24, a mystic thriller starring Naga Chaitanya and helmed by the director of Virupaksha fame Karthik Dandu. She’s also teaming up with Naveen Polishetty for the future romantic comedy Anaganaga Oka Raju, which is touted to be a young entertainer.
Trade sources confirm that she has come on board as the heroine in none other than Chiyaan Vikram’s 63rd film. While an official announcement is yet to be made, the hush around the project is already generating good expectations.
Scheduled tentatively as Vikram 63, the project is likely to go on floors in the next few weeks. Directed by Mandela director Madonne Ashwin, whose forte lies in fresh storytelling and out-of-the-box narratives, the project is being bankrolled by Arun Viswa. The expectations are extremely high with this cutting-edge team joining hands.
This is a major step for Meenakshi, who enters Kollywood with an uppermost project featuring one of Tamil cinema’s largest icons. Vikram-63 and Meenakshi are already creating buzz among audiences, with people eagerly waiting to witness this new screen pair.
Watch out for the confirmation—Vikram 63 may well be one of the most heard-about Tamil films of the year.
