Sri Simha and Satya, who previously entertained audiences in the comedy thriller ‘Mathu Vadalara’, directed by Ritesh Rana, are set to reprise their iconic roles for the much-awaited sequel, titled ‘Mathu Vadalara 2’.
The filmmakers unveiled the film’s teaser today, offering a glimpse into the fun-filled ride ahead. The teaser opens with a humorous scene featuring Vennela Kishore as Tollywood’s star, who humorously vents his frustration at a press event, reminiscing with a popular director’s past media interaction.
Sri Simha and Satya, who portrayed iconic roles as delivery agents in the prequel with a twist, now elevate the comedy as special agents in the H.E. Team (High Emergency Team) in this sequel. Faria Abdullah plays the female lead in this flick, with the stellar supporting cast of Vennela Kishore, Sunil, Rohini, Ajay, Raja Chembolu, and others. Satya’s and Vennela Kishore’s comedy timing and Kala Bhairava’s background score are highlights of the film.
Suresh Sarangam adds another layer with his cinematography, and Karthika Srinivas R handles the editing. Backed by Clap Entertainments and Mythri Movie Makers, promising twice the entertainment, the film is slated for a grand theatrical release on September 13, 2024.
